Medications, Serious Illness and Special Care
We do not accept medications that are considered controlled substances, dogs with history of seizures, or dogs diagnosed with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses. We highly recommend boarding with veterinary care for pets with these special needs.
If your pet has active symptoms of illness such as coughing, sneezing, vomiting or loose stool we ask that you refrain from using our services until they are symptom free for 48 hours.
We strive to be a facility free of any parasites. Suite Life Pet Resort and Spa requires all dogs to be on some form of flea and tick control. The staff will perform a once-over of each pet at check-in to ensure they aren't bringing any unwelcome guests into our facility. Should we find any fleas or flea dust on your pet, we will administer a Capstar pill. Capstar is a pill that when ingested, kills fleas within 30 minutes. It is not a preventative against fleas; it only kills the fleas that are currently on your dog. It does not interfere with any current monthly preventative you administer to your dog, nor will it cause any complications with any other medications your dog is currently taking. Capstar does not kill ticks.
We highly recommend all dogs be on Heartworm Preventative. For safety reasons, dogs diagnosed with Heartworms are not permitted in group play. Dogs undergoing Heartworm treatment are not permitted for any services.

We do not accept home vaccinations, hand written records or titer tests.
While it is not a requirement here at Suite Life, it is recommended your dog be Spayed/Neutered before they come for boarding or daycare. It helps provide a safer environment for all dogs. Any dog who is not fixed will have extra supervision and may be limited in their play groups. However we do require all cats to be Spayed/Neutered before coming for boarding
In-Heat or Pregnant

If a dog comes into heat during her stay, she will not be allowed in any playgroups. We may require her to be picked up by the owner or emergency contact.
